Carrying Babies and Toddlers

When you have one child, you have two hands to hold them or control them while you're out.  If you start adding on kids, you have less hands and arms to hold them.  Depending on the ages of your kids, it's a lot trickier getting things done or getting out or about.

With my first I got a Eddie Bauer Baby Carrier.  I think I used it once.  It seemed so difficult to get my daughter in and out.  Plus it was uncomfortable!  With my second I just used my strollers because I had no idea if any carrier would help at all.  Well, with my 3rd, I needed something and so many Mom's talked about the Baby Bjorn.  I went over to Babies R Us and picked one up.  I actually used it several times around the house, in the backyard and out.  It was OK but I was not 100% happy with it.  Plus my son was outgrowing it!

Then I started hearing a lot about the Beco and Ergo carrier.  After many considerations, I picked the Ergo Baby Carrier http://www.ergobabycarrier.com/.  From day one, it was a blessing.  I used it at parties, walks, when I took my older girls to dance class and even waiting for the bus.  It was GREAT.  I always did the front carry at first but recently I've started to back carry.  My son is 22-months now and no where near the weight of outgrowing it.  (45lbs)  It is seriously the best product I have ever bought for my children.

This morning it was such a huge lifesaver while getting my girls on  the bus!

If you're looking for a quality carrier that will last - look at the Ergo!  It is WORTH the price!
(I know there are other fantastic carriers but have only used the ERGO!)
